 What’s scary about cow’s milk? Nothing … if you are a calf. But, if you are a human, it’s a very different story. If the lactose intolerance, allergic reactions, and threats of salmonella and E. coli poisoning don’t scare you, perhaps this will: The human race is the only species to ingest the milk of another species! Imagine breast-feeding another mammal …ugh! Now, that’s scary!MilkSucks.com and GoVeg.com are sponsoring a Scary Dairy contest. We want to hear your own personal dairy-industry horror story. As a child, did your parents force-feed you milk until you spewed? Did you ever become violently ill from ingesting dairy? Have you personally seen a 1-day-old calf taken from his mother and placed into a torturous veal crate? Whatever the dairy angle, share your tale with us.
